Attacker Feisal Salum Feitoto was the subject of intense transfer speculation during this past mid-season window. It was suggested that the Reds of Msimbazi and the Glamour Boys were extremely keen on recruiting the goalscoring midfielder during the month of January.
Last season, the 26-year-old finished as runner-up in the Tanzanian Premier League Golden Boot standings, behind Young Africans talisman Stephane Aziz Ki, and it seems both sides were keen on adding his attacking prowess to their respective squads.
However, both the South African and Tanzanian transfer windows have come and gone with Feitoto still an Azam FC player, but according to Rwandan journalist Eric Ndagijimana, Simba's interest has not waned in the slightest.
The same report claims that the Tanzania international is a top priority for Fadlu Davids at the end of the season.
The South African tactician is currently doing a sterling job in Dar es Salaam, as his charges are at the top of the Tanzanian Premier League standings while also successfully qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.

Whether Chiefs retain any interest in the player remains to be seen, but it is looking increasingly likely that Feitoto will be closer to leaving Azam at the end of the ongoing campaign.
