Clement Mzize is one of the most highly touted forwards on the African continent. His exploits for his current club, Young Africans, have seen him garner attention from some of the biggest clubs, with sides such as the Glamour Boys, the Red Castle, and Al Ittihad from Libya all believed to be monitoring his progress in Dar es Salaam.
This season, he will have likely seen his stock rise even more given how he has been finding the back of the net with regularity in the Tanzanian Premier League.
The Taifa Stars representative has scored 10 goals in the Tanzanian top flight so far, and with Yanga currently sitting atop the log standings and gaining momentum, there is every chance that he will be crowned as the division's most prolific scorer come the end of the campaign.
He is, however, facing stiff competition from one of his teammates and former SuperSport United forward Prince Dube. While he was on the fringes during his time with Matsatsantsa, he has proven a key figure for the Jangwani Street giants during the 2024/25 season.

Dube has hit the ground running at his new club after he joined the record Tanzanian Premier League champions at the start of the campaign and, like Mzize, he has found the back of the net 10 times. Ivorian Jean Ahoua from Simba SC has also reached the double-figure mark, making for a compelling Golden Boot race as we head into the run-in for the season.
