There remains serious doubt over the Egyptian's future at Anfield as he approaches the end of his contract with the Reds. Earlier in the season, the 32-year-old admitted that he is "more out than in" at the club and could leave the Merseysiders should they fail to reach an agreement over an extension.
The contract dispute comes in perhaps Salah's best season as a Liverpool player. The Pharaohs' captain has scored 30 goals and provided 21 assists in all competitions, as he spearheads the club's ambitions to win the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and Carabao Cup.
In a recent interview with former Liverpool star Steve McManaman, the prolific attacker looked back on his career with the English side, suggesting that this could very well be his final campaign with the club.
"I want fans to remember that I gave it all to the fans. I gave it all to the city," the two-time CAF Men's Player of the Year told TNT Sports.

"I was here, I wasn't lazy, I just enjoyed my football and gave it all. I think that's what the city is about - they give you love and you have a connection with them because you give your all. I just want them to remember that I was here for eight years and I gave it all."
