A possible reunion outside of South Africa has been bandied about for two coaches who are searching for opportunities after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns.
With Romain Folz linked with a move abroad in the next chapter of his career, the tactician could be set to reunite with Manqoba Mngqithi at his new club.

Folz and Mngqithi have developed a good understanding and share the same ideas about coaching at the highest level and how their teams play.
While Mngqithi is understood to have clubs in the PSL considering bringing him on board, Folz is attracting interest from around the continent according to sources, with the two mentors said to be open to working together again should one of them find a suitable project in the coming weeks.
As reported by the Siya crew, Folz has been targeted for a role at CS Sfaxien in Tunisia, while Raja Club Athletic in Morocco and a few clubs in Egypt have showed interest in the UEFA Pro Licence holder, according to sources.
"For Romain, it's just a matter of deciding on the right offer but there are several clubs that have shown interest in his services. He is highly qualified and is regarded as one of the best young coaches in Africa. I am saying in Africa because he has African roots with his mother coming from Morocco although he is from France," said the source.

"Once he finds the right project, you can't rule out the possibility of him reuniting with Manqoba. They have a very good relationship and the possibility of them reuniting as co-coaches or something like that cannot be ruled out," the source said.
Locally, Golden Arrows are one of the clubs understood to have been considering bringing Mngqithi on board as their head coach.
