With Barcelona reportedly now in the race to land Marcus Rashford, here is the latest concerning the out-of-favour Manchester United forward.

It's looking increasingly likely that the remainder of the England international's 2024/25 season will be played away from Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old has not participated in any of United's last eight matches in all competitions, and manager Ruben Amorim has given very little indication of whether he is poised for a return.
Some of Europe's biggest clubs have consequently come circling around the Theatre of Dreams, trying to lure the Manchester native away from his boyhood club. A permanent move is being ruled out due to his massive wages, so a loan is deemed the likeliest outcome.
It looked as though AC Milan were the team set to secure a deal for the England international, but earlier this week, news emerged that Barca are also keen to sign Rashford, and that Catalonia would be his preferred destination.
According to Sport, the Spanish giants are actively trying to sign the pacey forward, but for that to happen, they need to sell somebody within their squad. At the moment, however, no player within the Blaugrana setup seems to be generating any outside interest.
The five-time European champions believe Rashford could add the necessary depth they've been searching for on the left flank, as both coach Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco are fans of the player.

Barca are seemingly trying their best to expedite the process of recruiting Rashford, but they will need to act fast if they are to land the attacker, as the likes of Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and AS Monaco are believed to be lurking in the background.
