The veteran midfielder says there were a lot people who did not give Zamalek a chance.
"There are people who spoke about Zamalek in an inappropriate manner before the match, and some of them stated that he should not travel to Saudi Arabia," the captain told MBC Masr channel.
"No one expected Zamalek to win the title. Some people should know that one Zamalek player is worth 20 players, andd we deserved to win because everyone in the team worked hard."
"Some players cried when they saw 600 fans sitting in a small room, and others travel for hours to support the team.
"I spoke with Nasser Mansi and told him that this meeting is an opportunity for him because he was attacked in the past period, and there is no better day than today to reconcile and please the club's fans."
