Real Madrid have confirmed a big decision on new signing Kylian Mbappe ahead of their first match of the new season this week.

The Spanish giants have named the 25-year-old in their squad to take on Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup final in Poland on Wednesday.

Mbappe was unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu last month following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent, but did not join his new teammates on their pre-season tour in the United States.
The France captain was allowed an extended period of rest after the 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany, and only recently began training at his new club.

The forward, who has been handed the No. 9 jersey at Los Blancos, is now in line to make his first appearance for the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners.
