What Chiefs Can Expect On Their Turkish Delight

The story

Kaizer Chiefs announced on Wednesday that they will embark on a pre-season tour to the Republic of Türkiye this week.

This will be Chiefs' first first pre-season tour out of Africa since their trip to South Korea in 2003 and it will help them adequately prepare for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

The Players and technical team will spend almost three weeks in the country straddled between Southeast Europe and West Asia, where they'll train and play friendly matches against Turkish teams.

Amakhosi will be visit two cities in Türkiye, Izmit and the capital of Istanbul. The city of Izmit is regarded as one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Turkey, boasting stunning sea views, mountain areas with green meadows along its sides.

The panoramic views of the Sea of Marmara will likely please the Kaizer Chiefs camp and put them at ease. As per tourism site, safaraq.com, Izmit is only an hour and a half, and its close proximity to the capital is said to have made it a tourist destination when visiting Istanbul.

"Izmit is also rich in monuments that attract history lovers, with many Roman-era historical monuments and attraction," states the safaraq.com site.

In Istanbul, the Glamour Boys will be exposed to the biggest city in the transcontinental nation, which also stands as the economic, cultural, and historical hub of the country.

Istanbul is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and has a along with an array of world-famous museums on offer to visitors, it's set to be more than just a sporting tour for the Glamour Boys.
