It's believed that Chiefs have opened talks with TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic, who had already been in touch with the club. Amakhosi have had a number of coaches showing an interest in the head coaching position, but Ramovic appears to be a frontrunner ahead of the other reported foreign options.
What gives Ramovic an edge over the other coaches, it appears, is the fact that he has been working in the Premier Soccer League for a few seasons now and knows the players and culture of local football.
As it stands, the Siya crew understands that he is the frontrunner for the position and Amakhosi will make their final choice official once the season comes to an end.
"Theoretically he is moving to Chiefs," a source said to the Siya crew.
