A man in Brazil has been reportedly detained after attempting to kidnap Neymar's newborn baby.

According to Quem, the house of the Al Hilal superstar's partner, Bruna Biancardi, was invaded and robbed by a criminal group on Tuesday in Sao Paulo.
It has been said that the gang entered the home and asked for Bruna and her daughter Maive, who was born in October, but the pair happened to be in another property.
Her parents, however, were at the house at the time of the invasion and were tied up, but were fortunately not injured.
A man has since been arrested in connection with the crime.
Neymar is currently serving a spell on the sidelines after suffering a serious injury on international duty shortly after his big-money arrival at Al Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Transfermarkt, the ex-Barcelona winger is only set to return to action in April next year after his cruciate ligament tear and will miss around 25 matches.

The Brazilian left the French giants after his relationship with the club's supporters soured towards the end of his six-year spell in Paris.
