Portugal, who were without Cristiano Ronaldo, made history after thrashing Luxembourg 9-0 in their EURO 2024 qualifier on Monday night.
The nation's all-time leading scorer was not available for selection after serving a one-game suspension after picking up his third yellow card of the campaign over the weekend.

The 2016 European champions showed their intent early on, with Bruno Fernandes setting up Ganclo Inacio for his first goal in the qualifiers after 12 minutes.
Gancalo Ramos, who replaced the suspended Ronaldo, repaid the faith by bagging a quick-fire brace before the 35-minute mark, before Inacio completed his brace on the stroke of halftime.
The rout continued in the second half, as Liverpool star Diogo Jota added a brace of his own while Fernandes, Joao Felix and Ricardo Horta added their names to the score-sheet.
Fernandes was one of the standout performers on the night, with the Manchester United midfielder bagging a goal and three assists in front of the home crowd.
As a result, Selecao have now record the biggest win in their history and have done so without their all-time leading scorer on the pitch.
Roberto Martinez's side continue to sit pretty at the top of Group J after recording six wins from six matches in the qualifiers.
