Barca x Konami
Reigning LaLiga champions FC Barcelona and Konami have agreed to extend their partnership.
This will see the Japanese video game publishers continue being Barca's Global Partner and Official Video Gaming Partner.
"The two brands intend to drive the deal forward to take the connection between the football and digital entertainment world to the next level," reads a portion of Barca's press release on the deal.
Despite being miles behind EA Sports' past FIFA titles, Konami have still managed to earn partnerships with Barca, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Although the Camp Nou will be missing from EA FC 24, the game will still feature a fully-licensed Barca side, with real names, faces, badges etc.
That's down to EA having extensive licensing agreements with most of the top football leagues around the world, including La Liga (as a name partner) and the English Premier League.

The partnership will see Konami have access to the Blaugrana senior squad to gather material for the production of its eFootball game. Konami will also have access to the club's legends, who will be serving as ambassadors for the deal.
The deal will also include Konami branding on Barca's match days, as well as the club museum and in their media. The club will also actively promote the eFootball series, EA FC 24's direct competition.
"By renewing this contract, FC Barcelona is reaffirming its long-term commitment to KONAMI, which began in 2016, but is now going even further with the consolidation of a partnership with a leading name in the gaming community and in the world of digital entertainment," concludes Barca's press release.
