The French tactician has been linked with numerous jobs since his departure from the record European champions, including the Paris Saint-Germain, France national team and Juventus hot seats.
It seems the three-time UEFA Champions League-winning coach did not find any of the aforementioned propositions enticing enough as he is still jobless, but with it seemingly being confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti will become Brazil's national team head coach come July 2024, perhaps a third appointment as Los Merengues boss is on the cards.
However, according to Cadena SER, the 1998 Ballon d'Or winner would only consider making a reappearance in the Real dugout if they successfully sign Kylian Mbappe.
Zidane recently admitted he would love to work with the 24-year-old attacker one day, and given that there is an increasing likelihood that the Bondy native could leave the Parc des Princes in this transfer window, reports linking the pacey attacker with a move to the home of the record European champions have once again resurfaced.

It is further claimed that if the promise of an Mbappe transfer can be fulfilled to Zidane, then negotiations over a second return to the club will be expedited and the legendary midfielder could once again be at the helm for the Spanish giants.
