Manchester City have reportedly submitted a £90 million (R2.1 billion) offer for a 43-time England international.

Despite Arsenal having appeared to be favourites to land his signature, West Ham United captain Declan Rice is not short of suitors ahead of the 2023/24 season.
According to transfer expert David Ornstein, Premier League champions City have put together a deal worth £90 million to sign the 24-year-old, with £80 million (R1.8 billion) offered up front and a further £10 million (R236 million) in add-ons.

This comes after the Gunners recently had a proposal for the midfielder rejected.
Rice has progressed impressively since breaking through at the Hammers six years ago, having amassed 245 senior appearances for the club and cemented his place in the England squad.
He also captained West Ham this past season as the London side claimed the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy following a 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the final earlier this month.

City's reported move for Rice follows the news that Ilkay Gundogan has penned a two-year deal at Spanish giants Barcelona ahead of the coming campaign.
