The 24-year-old arrives at Anfield off the back of his most productive season as a professional footballer, having found the back of the net 12 times and assisted another three goals in all competitions for Brighton Hove Albion in the 2022/23 campaign.
Speaking to the club's website, Mac Allister stated that joining the Reds is a "dream come true".
"It feels amazing. It's a dream come true, it's amazing to be here and I can't wait to get started," he said.
"I wanted to be in [from] the first day of pre-season, so it's good that everything is done. I'm looking forward to meeting my teammates.
"It was a fantastic year for me – World Cup, what we achieved with Brighton – but now it's time to think about Liverpool and try to be a better player and a better human being every day."
Having played an integral role in helping Argentina win their third World Cup title in Qatar late last year, the Santa Rosa native has now earned himself a big move to the home of the six-time European champions. It is understood the playmaker has signed a five-year deal with Jurgen Klopp's side.
