With Marcus Rashford approaching the final 12 months of his current Manchester United contract, the Englishman's stance on a possible extension at the club has been reported.

The Manchester native is currently enjoying the best season of his career, having found the back of the net 27 times for the Red Devils across all competitions so far.
Rashford's form is seemingly a blessing and a curse for the club, as while his hot-streak has propelled them to their first trophy in six years, it also puts the England international in a position to negotiate a new lucrative salary, something United are said to be reluctant to do following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils would be willing to break their new salary threshold in order to retain their academy alumni, but the 25-year-old is in no rush to ink a new deal at Old Trafford as he is waiting to see who the club's new owners might be.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim are currently the leading candidates to takeover from the Glazer family, but the change in ownership would not be a swift process for whoever the winner turns out to be.
The same report claims that the sale of the club may only be completed until during the 2024/25 campaign, meaning that Rashford would be in the final months of his current deal.
