Since his appointment at the start of the campaign, the ex-Bafana Bafana striker has been credited with United's improvement in attacking areas.
Fans across South Africa and England have voiced their delight with the job he is doing at Carrington, as has the players benefitting from his expertise on the training ground.
Marcus Rashford, in particular, has made enormous strides since Ten Hag and McCarthy's respective arrivals, having so far scored a career-best 27 goals in all competitions this season.
Ten Hag believes the former Porto and Blackburn Rovers forward has had a positive impact at the Red Devils, but that everyone on his staff is worthy of praise.
"We needed a staff member who deals specifically with the strikers and Benni [McCarthy] is doing a good job, but you shouldn't forget the other staff members because it's a job for crew," he said at a press conference on Friday.
