According to Spanish giants Sport, the Citizens are preparing to part ways with Spain international Aymeric Laporte.
The centre-back has been a peripheral figure at the club so far this season, following the arrival of Swiss defender Manuel Akanji, who has impressed since his debut in England.
It is suggested that Guardiola is interested in bringing Josko Gvardiol of RB Leipzig to Manchester at the end of the campaign, and will therefore look to sell Laporte.
The 21-year-old Croatian has been targeted by several top sides across Europe since his performances at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, including Chelsea and Liverpool.
Laporte, meanwhile, has been tipped to head back to LaLiga, where he previously represented Athletic Bilbao, with Real Madrid and Barcelona said to be on high alert.
