With Neymar being the first to leave the legendary "MSN" front three at Barcelona, Luis Suarez has revealed the club he and Lionel Messi told the Brazilian to join instead of Paris Saint-Germain.

During the three seasons Messi, Neymar and Suarez spent at the Camp Nou together, the trio formed part of a fearsome attack that scored goals by the bucketload.
From 2014 up until 2017, the South American trident scored a plethora of goals as they helped the Blaugrana capture three Supercopa de Espana titles, two LaLiga championships and the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League.
Before the commencement of the 2017/18 campaign, however, a then 25-year-old Neymar shocked the world by deciding to become the most expensive footballer of all time and trade the Catalan giants for Paris Saint-Germain, but according to his former Uruguayan teammate, he and Messi advised their Brazilian counterpart to move to Manchester City and play under Pep Guardiola instead.
"If Neymar had stayed at Barcelona, he would have won a Ballon d'Or, for sure," Suarez told Spanish outlet Marca.
"We went to talk to Neymar and told him: 'Ney, if you want to win everything, stay here'. There are all environments that are sometimes difficult to control.
"We, as friends, advised him to stay, but it's his decision, his family's. We said: 'Neymar, England is better. [Manchester] City, that football will be better there. But in France?"

Neymar ultimately decided to go against his teammates' advice and go ahead with the move to the French giants, where so far, he has an ambiguous legacy, but at only 31 years old, it is still possible he can vindicate the move to the Parc des Princes.
