Reports suggest that Barcelona are interested in bringing Roberto Firmino to the Camp Nou in a swap deal involving one of their star attackers.
The Catalan giants are reportedly keen to take advantage of Firmino's current contractual situation at Anfield by offering the Brazilian playmaker a way out in the January transfer window.
Since last season, the 30-year-old's prominence in Jurgen Klopp's side has waned, and that trend has seemingly continued in this campaign.
A similar situation has unfolded in Catalonia for Memphis Depay, and now according to Sport, the Blaugrana want to do a swap deal involving the two attacker.
The Netherlands international, who has dropped in the attacking pecking order at the Camp Nou following Robert Lewandowski's arrival, looked set to leave Barca in the latest transfer window, but a suitable deal failed to materialise for the 28-year-old, and he opted to stay in Catalonia.
It now seems Liverpool could offer the attacker a way out with a move to Merseyside at the turn of the year.

Both Firmino and Depay currently have just under 12 months remaining on their respective deals, and while the Reds and the Blaugrana could lose their two strikers as free agents at the end of the season, it now appears there is an opportunity they can both benefit from.
