Out-on-loan Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes seems to have confirmed suspicions that the French giants' dressing room is divided after he was asked about Kylian Mbappe.
The Argentina international, who joined Juventus on loan in the latest transfer window, was reportedly among the South American contingent Mbappe did not always get along with in Paris.
Last season, it was suggested that the Frenchman believed the dressing room had been taken over by the Latin-speaking group and felt there should be more of a homegrown feel at the Ligue 1 super-club.
Paredes eventually departed the side to join Juve in a loan deal that includes an obligation to buy, meaning the 28-year-old defensive midfielder will sign a permanent contract with the Bianconeri should certain clauses be met.
In a recent interview with ESPN Argentina, he was asked to explain his relationship with Mbappe, but said he cannot talk about players he did not have a relationship with.
"I am not the one to talk about him," he said.
"I had a connection with the ones I had a relationship with. But the ones I didn't have a relationship with, I can't tell you about them."
Injuries appeared to hamper Paredes' playing time in the 2021/22 season, although he did start in crucial games under Mauricio Pochettino before his compatriot was replaced in the PSG hot seat by Christophe Galtier.
