After Sadio Mane extended his goal drought to four games in Bayern Munich's UEFA Champions League victory over Barcelona on Tuesday night, Julian Nagelsmann provided his verdict on the Senegal international's recent performances.

Following a bright start to life in Germany, the 30-year-old has failed to score in each of his past four matches for the Bundesliga champions, a run that coincides with three consecutive league draws.
Mane was named in Bayern's starting line-up to take on the Blaugrana on Tuesday, but, apart from one or two smart runs with the ball into the box, he struggled to impact the game before being substituted in the 70th minute.
After the match, Nagelsmann suggested that the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner needs time to adapt at the Bavarians following a successful six-year stay at Liverpool prior to his £35 million (R700 million) switch in the recent transfer window.
"He put in so much for Liverpool," he said, according to the Daily Mirror.
"He's a new signing. He just needs to adapt. He was trying.
"I'm certain he will succeed for us."
Mane has managed to score five goals in 10 appearances for Bayern since his arrival in July, although is yet to open his account in this season's Champions League.
The Senegalese winger has struck three times in the Bundesliga, once in the DFB-Pokal and was on hand to score in the Bavarians' DFL-Supercup win over RB Leipzig earlier in this campaign.
For Liverpool, he formed an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's attack, contributing to 169 strikes in 269 games across all competitions and claiming six pieces of silverware.
