Siya sources added that when Sundowns initially signed Suarez on loan, they were believed to have included a purchase option to assess his adaptation to the South African game first, which he has now achieved to their satisfaction.
"Actually when the scouts went there they wanted him signed permanently already but at that time there were changes in the technical department and they were not sure if the incoming coach (Miguel Cardoso) would like him and so the loan was the first option because of that. But since he arrived the current technical team is believed to be very happy and impressed with his contribution to the team both on and off the field and that's why it hasn't taken long before the club could make the decision to exercise the buying option," said the Siya source.
