Agent Mike Makaab has explained his reunion with experienced campaigner Ayanda Patosi, who is determined to make a return to the playing field after some time away.
Patosi spent a big part of his playing career abroad and had a spell with Cape Town City in the PSL, but has been away from the spotlight since 2023.

He is now looking to make a comeback and has reunited with Makaab in the hope of finding a home to show what he can still offer the game.
At 32, Makaab believes the player has a lot to offer and they are currently working with him to ensure he gets into the right condition to join a club, with the hope of getting a deal locally or abroad.
"So, Ayanda and I go way back. Originally he was with me and then he decided to move onto another agency. Like everything else in life, I don't close the door on anybody. It's my nature.

"Ayanda called me and he said he is serious about making a comeback. The good news is that we've already starting working with him and we are going to get him into a special program, so that he can get his levels of fitness and strength back to where they have to be. If he is serious about giving it another big shot in his life, I am confident we have not seen the end of him.
"I've always believed that he's one of the best exports we've produced. He just did not quite live up to his full potential, but he knows that. I am super excited. It's an exciting project for him and for us as a company."
Patosi will be looking to be ready in time to join a club for pre-season in the next few months.
