With limited game time at Orlando Pirates and his contract reportedly set to expire at the end of the season, midfielder Miguel Timm is believed to have attracted interest from another PSL club.
Insiders close to both Pirates and AmaZulu have indicated that Usuthu have enquired about the availability of Timm as they look to strengthen their defensive midfield options ahead of next season.

"The team is looking at bolstering their defensive midfield areas. You know for now their main player in that position is Ben Motshwari only and if he is injured or suspended they have problems in that department and that's why they are looking at Miguel (Timm). They know his experience is what they need in that position and they believe he has that, " the source told the Siya crew.
A second insider stated that AmaZulu could potentially sign Timm on a free transfer, as his contract with Pirates is set to end on June 30, with no indications of a renewal yet.

"He could be a free agent by the time AmaZulu go for him. There is nothing happening at the moment from Pirates and his contract is believed to be ending on June 30. So AmaZulu could take that advantage and sign him for free," the second insider revealed.
The 33-year-old Timm joined the Sea Robbers from Marumo Gallants in the 2022/23 season. During his first season with the Buccaneers, he appeared in most of the league appearances, followed by many matches again last season. However, he has yet to make an impact in the Betway Premiership this season, fueling speculation about his future at the Soweto giants.
Soccer Laduma reached out to AmaZulu for comment, but there was no response at the time of publishing. Attempts to contact Timm’s agent, Basia Michaels, were unsuccessful.
