Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane says reaching the quarter-finals was the main objective in their 2-1 win over Royal AM rather than playing attractive football.

Zwane did say that his chargers didn't create enough clear-cut chances to truly test their Durban-based opponents on Sunday but is pleased to progress to the semi's curtesy of a Yusuf Maart penalty.

Amakhosi will hope for a more convincing showing in the semi-finals where they will face rivals Orlando Pirates. Here's how the readers reacted to the "Zwane: The Fight Was More Important Than Silky Football" story:

"Easy way to the final, I hope we get our reserve team, Stellenbosch. Those guys know how to hand Chiefs what belongs to them," says Mami@georgedale.

"But '10111' you didn't make the required substitutions, when you brought on Shabalala, you had made 2/ 3 subs so that you don't expose Du Preez upfront," says silungilemiyeki017.

"Well done coach, just give us this Nedbank, we see what you doing!!" says user827808.

Following Sundowns' 2-1 defeat to Stellenbosch on Saturday, coach Rulani Mokwena says that he takes full responsibility for Downs' exit.

Sundowns have no gone four games in all competitions without a win, which is a concern heading into their important CAF Champions League quarterfinal clash against CR Belouizdad this weekend.

Mokwena also said that his team has to prove with every game they play that they're the best team in the country, stating that a team is only as good as its last game.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Rulani Takes Responsibility For Downs Los: I Will Not Hide!" story:

"We aiming for the big fish, the CAF Champions League," says OmeGa.

"Sundowns will be knocked out from CAF, like every season, they will not go anywhere further from this stage," says HelsTheMan.

"At least it's a given that they qualify every year. That alone says something about the fake SA big teams," responds bhekilekhuleni6.

"The real big teams from other countries will keep proving how weak your team is every year," claps back Rio Da Khosi.
