Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has revealed what he now has to prove his loyalty to the club and feels a big sense of responsibility of leading the Brazilians into a new era.

The young tactician received a bumper new four-year-contract as head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns and reserved praise to the supporters for making him feel welcome and appreciated at the club.

Mokwena became sole head coach in October last year and led Masandawana to their sixth DStv Premiership title in-a-row and a CAF Champions League semi-final birth.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Mokwena: I Have To Prove My Loyalty" story:

"Good luck with everything ndoda," says slmbanjwa81.

"We are happy with you and we have in mind that four years is totally different to October last year to the end of the season. Much more is demanded from anyone in that category compared to last season," says winterv.me.

"Congratulations to the football club. Congratulations to the Motsepe family," says Saavedra.

"You're only saying those nice things because all is still rosy," says Rio Da Khosi.

"Why are you saying that? because you and your friends were saying he is the brains behind the success of the club when Pitso was the head coach, also when Manqoba was the coach?

"Now that he is the head coach you say that. We know that nothing good done by Sundowns goes well with you and your friends," responds thulasmda to the comment above.

Soccer Laduma's Siya Crew has indicated that Stellenbosch FC has shown interest in Orlando Pirates' Goodman Mosele.

It's not clear whether or not Stellies will be seeking a loan or a permanent deal for the Bafana international, who struggled with injures last season and has subsequently lost his place in Jose Riveiro's side.

Mosele joined the Buccaneers from Baroka in 2021 and is contracted to the Sea Robbers until June 2025.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Stellenbosch Interested In Pirates Midfielder?" story:

"He should have signed for the family business but knowing them, they won't even attempt or bother to lure him to Naturena. Very talented and intelligent CM," says jb@103.

"This one is going no where. Bucs still need him and is contracted too, akayindawo abakhohlwe (He's not going anywhere, they should forget it)," says sibo.mthembu.

"I wish he can come to the yellow nation," says user114626.

"They'll release him so that he can get much needed game time somewhere else, he's still young and he's got potential. Even Chiefs can suit him but the family business - I can't talk on their behalf," says silungilemyeki017.

"Good player, wrong team," says Saavedra.

"What a player!!!" says mdu.mhlungu.

"Indeed this boy is talented. He just needs a team that will suit his style," says Nhlax.
