Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...
Comments
Mamelodi Sundowns are understood to have won the race for SuperSport United attacker Thapelo Maseko, who was also chased by Belgian side KVC Westerlo.
It's reportedly taken around R20 million plus the permanent transfer of midfielder Grant Margeman to sweeten the deal for Matsatsantsa, who apparently turned down three offers from Westerlo for the talented youngster.
Maseko enjoyed a breakthrough campaign under Gavin Hunt last season, featuring 25 times and bagging four goals for SuperSport - he also earned his first ever Bafana Bafana call-up from Hugo Broos.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Sundowns Finally Win R20m Maseko Race?" story:
"R20m for Maseko... congratulations for being promoted to the senior side mfana. Phela the yellow stands need to be filled since there are less supporters there," says NickNaks.
"Stan Matthews haikhona. I thought you were an astute businessman. R20 million is small change to Downs. It's peanuts. In future, try to be a shrewd negotiator. Slap a R100 million price tag. They will catch the bait. These people have a bottomless money pit," says gsithole.
"Downs can easily, easily afford R100 million. In actual fact I'm giving praise to Downs for being the only team in Mzansi who one day will compete with the likes of Man United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich etc. for players.
"I'm merely saying SuperSport is undervaluing their players. They could get a bit more if they play their cards close to their chest," adds gsithole.
"Sundowns' development team have done it again," says oupa.phiri27.
"Monopoly of money has taken the game away from fair play. When will SAFA or CAF introduce financial fair play? The Sundowns monopoly will never end," says thabanem.
"It's not our fault that you chose to support a poor team," responds Saavedra to thabanem.

Orlando Pirates have been joined by a few clubs in pursuit of Maritzburg United attacking midfielder Karim Kimvuidi.
The Congolese youngster was one of the shining lights in a bleak Maritzburg United season, who ended up being relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
AmaZulu and Cape Town City are said to be monitoring the 21-year-old, who's also been linked with a move to Masandawana.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates Joined By Overseas Clubs In Kimvuidi Pursuit" story:
"If I had the choice to choose between him and Billiat, my simple choice would be Khama..." says Bucs365.
"I have watched him play. Besides his fine touches, I have not seen anything special. I think he is not fit enough. Maybe his passes and work rate will improve if his fitness levels improve also.
"I definitely don't think he would command a regular starting birth at Pirates. Having said that though, he is not bad, just not what Pirates need for now," says msanisto.
"This Kimvuidi will end up playing in the Motsepe Foundation. The R15m was meant for Sundowns, but unfortunately there was no interest from them," says oupa.phiri27
