Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has confirmed that they have signed "some players" and are working on tying up more of their targets for next season.

Zwane recently concluded a disappointing first season at the Glamour Boys, with the club finishing their eighth successive season without a trophy and a fifth place finish in the league.

When asked on whether the club will go on a spending spree in the off-season, Zwane confirmed they've made "some signings" this season, without reveal the identity of the incomings.

Amakhosi have reportedly completed the deals for Cape Town City Mduduzi Mdantsane and TS Galaxy's Given Msimango. Here's how the readers reacted to the "Zwane Makes Transfer Window Statement" story:

"And when are you going, Mr. Favouritism?" says bbrawasha.

"Why is Arthur excluding himself from those who flopped? Chiefs should appoint him as spokesperson. The guy talks too much but cannot deliver," says jb@103.

"Hayi, asazi this time, but the truth is, Chiefs is always busy on the Market. But eish, the less said about Chiefs in the Market the better. Look at Saile now, the guy is just very strong nje," says mthunzijack7.

"When will the PSL introduce an award for the most talkative coach of the season? I am sure the winner will have no competitor in this segment of awards," says gsithole.

"Please sign AJ15, I think he could be the solution to our midfield which is not strong at the moment," says Pumpkin.

"With Zwane still the coach, I've already lost hope for next season," says johnacharles73.

"Chiefs is too heavy for some players. The dignity of the institution has a negative impact to some players. Remember that every player used to wish to play for Chiefs. Those who were signed found the going tough.

"All Sundowns ex-players who were signed by Chiefs became flops. Some players might shine at some teams but at Chiefs they become ordinary.

"Its like someone having stage fright. The mistakes by defenders and missing clear cut chances attest to that," says Soccer Fanatic.

The Siya Crew has revealed that DStv Premiership champions have showed interest in signing SuperSport United winger Patrick Maswanganyi.

The 25-year-old put together some good showing for Gavin Hunt in the SuperSport United jersey this season, contributing with four goals and four assists.

Sundowns could use the talents of the quick and skillful baller, who could strengthen Sundowns' left-sided attack and could be a cheaper alternative to SuperSport's Young Player of the Year Thapelo Maseko.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "SSU Could Lose Another Key Player To Downs" story:

"Maritzburg United and Supersport United survive by selling their players to the highest bidder. They are really UNITED!!! By naming the team SuperSport didn't help to be sponsored by SuperSport TV. They better rename it SuperDowns," says Soccer Fanatic.

"These things are part of life and we cannot all be equal. Do it as time allows you to do. Masandawana family has long been blessed like a spoilt boy in terms of money, even on its embryonic stage and in their history, they never had to struggle to get whatever player they want. So relax, its the way it is," says wintervme.

"Consider both players [Maseko Maswanganyi] as Downs players. It will still be an unstoppable train," says Abuti.

"Lol, at that time Gavin Hunt was talking riddles about competing in the CAFCL, forgetting that he is coaching a feeder team," says Slow_Poison.

"Why not just sign the whole SuperSport team," Rio Da Khosi.
