'Never In The History Of Chiefs Has This Team Been Such An Embarrassment'

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka, who hasn't played in March as he recovered from an ankle injury, has been declared fit to feature once again, as confirmed by Chiefs' first team physiotherapist, David Milner.

The news has seemingly not been well received by many of the Amakhosi faithful, with some stressing that this makes no difference as they feel "Mido" is no longer effective in his position. Supporters Club member and Chiefs fan khosibybirth548 broke his thoughts down.

"Mara (But), really, we can't all be wrong vs the opinion of just one Steve Komphela. Maluleka gives us nothing. He's average. I'm certain that, under a different coach, even the likes of Jayiya might live up to expectations. I can't wait to see the back of Steve. Never in the history of this club has this team been such an embarrassment to the multitudes of its supporters. Three seasons is way too much. We won only a third of our games, drawn half. In fact, when Steve packs his bags, Maluleka must follow him.

"Now George will just walk into the team because Steve, instead of strengthening the team and instilling some imagination going into the last third, will bring back Maluleka to strengthen the defence, and will probably bench Castro and start Moon thinking that it will solve the scoring problems.

"He fails to notice that our scoring problems stems from the lack of creativity in the middle. Shabba isn't giving us that. Though he can defend, Shabba is an attacker by nature. Steve, creativity means Ntshangase. It is only with him that we would be able to score Bucs- or Sundowns-like goals.

"Truth be told, we have nothing much more to lose. Allow Ntshangase to blend in. Correct his weaknesses while he is playing."
