Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin "Micho" Sredojevic believes that Bucs' man of the moment, Luvuyo Memela, deserves a Bafana Bafana call-up.
The midfielder came on as a substitute in the Soweto Derby, when the mighty Buccaneers locked horns with Kaizer Chiefs last Saturday, and Memela netted twice within 28 minutes in the second half to ensure that Micho's side walked out of FNB Stadium the victorious side on the day.
Speaking to the media after the match, the Serbian said he believes it is high time Amigo dons the famous colours of the South African national team. He further went on to say that Memela is a hard worker and that his current form and statistics speak for themselves.
Supporters Club members have reacted to Micho's statements, with some agreeing with him fully, while others feel it is too soon for such a massive responsibility, that being Amigo carrying the hopes of the nation on his shoulders.
