Maritzburg United have been enjoying a good run in the Absa Premiership this season.
One would probably have thought the Team of Choice was being mocked had someone told them three seasons ago that they would be in such a great position on the log in the 2017/18 PSL campaign. Now fourth in the standings, one can certainly not overlook Maritzburg's impressive form.
The Durban-based side ensured that their commendable form continued in the Nedbank Cup as they comfortably defeated NFD side Royal Eagles 2-1 on Sunday afternoon, knocking them out of the competition.
Some Supporters Club members believe that Fadlu Davids' charges have done well and are indeed a force to be reckoned with in the PSL.
