Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Amakhosi legend Marks Maponyane has given his thoughts on Molefi Ntseki's appointment as head coach.

There's been criticism aimed at Ntseki, with many believing he lacks the experience and pedigree to coach a DStv Premiership side despite having coached Bafana Bafana.

Maponyane wants Ntseki to be given a chance in his new role before people start criticising and feels that expectations were raised high on Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi becoming a success at the club if he succeeded Arthur Zwane.

Here's how the fans reacted to the "What Maponyane Finds 'Bizarre' About Ntseki Appointment" story:

"Komphela was given a chance, Zwane was given one too, but this time we need results. We can't wait any longer," says mkhwanazisj04.

"Only the quality player's they've signed will save him," says makaringephilly.

"I disagree with you grootman. The situation at Chiefs calls for desperate measures. They need a coach with good pedigree, someone who can take them out of this mess.

"There's no time to experiment and Ntseki doesn't have what it takes to rescue the team from the doldrums," says oupa.phiri27.

"Spot on Go Man Go. Reputation though is a good thing but it doesn't always guarantee success. I actually said the same thing a few days ago concerning Nabi on the SNL platforms.

"I would rather be Ntseki and carry an underdog tag. Underdogs are always dangerous. We all saw what happened in the Nedbank Cup semi-final clash between Chiefs and Pirates," says gsithole.

"There were too many coaches, European coaches for that matter who came and failed. They were not doubted until they failed.

"Now one of our own is treated badly. Let every individual wait and see what he is capable of. Never and please never disrespect one of our own," says Soccer Fanatic.

"Ja eish, Go Man Go, the guy needs to be given a chance like Jeff Butler, Paul Dolezar, Ted Dumitru, Muhsin Ertugral and V.V, nobody knew all these guys but they all brought something to Chiefs.

"Just look at Rulani Mokwena at Sundowns and the Orlando Pirates coach, they also came with no pedigree, but both of them brought success to their respective clubs," says mthunzijack7.

"I hope the legend Maponyane will be around in stadiums to defend Ntseki when things turn nasty. 8 year trophy drought seems like it's not reason enough to raise concerns," says makhause(2).

"A legend has spoken and I share the same sentiment," says phineasled.

According to the Siya Crew, attacking midfielder Lesedi Kapinga is believed to be on his way out of Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 28-year-old has cut a frustrated figure at Downs, only managing six appearances in all competitions last season.

Kapinga has been linked with a potential move to Orlando Pirates, with negotiations said to be already underway.

The ex-Black Leopards ace was eager to leave Downs in January and could finally get his wish after an underwhelming spell at the DStv Premiership champions.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Kapinga Set For Soweto Giants Switch?" story:

"He couldn't crack it at Sundowns and Pirates fans want him to walk into the starting line-up, tjoo... that says it all," says makhause(2).

"Granted free bail at last, while Manqoba is still in prison donning yellow overalls, enjoying being a ball boy and receiving funds from father Christmas!!" says user827808.

"Promising talent, his only down fall was his defensive work rate. Sundowns players are required to win the ball back immediately after losing it, Kapinga couldn't mark like other player in his position," says Dominate-downs.

"He is good, he can play as number 10. We were only relying on Dlamini in which sometimes, you will find him wanting. But teams differ. Others perform well somewhere others don't," says Bucs365.

"Don't rush in celebration of Kapinga Mabhakaniya. I know how Sundowns operates quietly and you might see Vincent Pule going the other way mark my words," says bhekilekhuleni6.

"Bobby, wake up," says gwebulesiba.
