They may have crashed out of the Nedbank Cup, but that didn't put Orlando Pirates down as they bounced right back to winning ways.
The Buccaneers redeemed themselves at the expense of Golden Arrows last weekend. The 2-1 win saw Bucs close the gap to just one point between them and log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
Supporters Club members have reacted to Bucs' impressive performance against Abafana Bes'thende, and the Soweto giants also received words of praise from fans of notable rivals of theirs.
"We are happy with the victory, let those long way to 40 points continue, we are challenging for something special." – Godfrey89
"Amabhakaniya ajabulile while others are rotting in position five, it's a long way to 40 points." – Bucsfever16
"I like it when Bucs are giving us a run for our trophy because it makes the league so interesting. Unlike in leagues like in the parts Germany or Scotland where some teams wins the league title while they still have more than 10 games to play. It's nice for the supporters." – Michaeltshigama
"If we can lose the league and Pirates win it, then it is okay. As long as Chiefs don't touch it." – sprinkie
"I'm a Khosi fan but I'll congratulate Pirates for giving a good challenge on Sundowns and chasing the league title. Although they are out of the Nedbank Cup, they are showing positive signs unlike our Steve Komphela team. Which had a very bad performance since he came, the team has not been in good conditions and he's showing a very week symptoms of not being a good coach in this team." – Thabanirichard
