Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena has been temporarily roped into the national team set-up by Stuart Baxter.
Bucs' Mokwena has been receiving a lot of praise from the football fraternity in recent weeks, along with the club's head coach Milutin "Micho" Sredojevic.
Supporters Club members have reacted to Mokwena's "call-up" to the national team, with some believing that it is a great opportunity for Rhulani to broaden his coaching knowledge and be empowered, while others feel it's a bit too soon for the undivided attention Mokwena's has been receiving lately.
"I'm a Bucs fan, but I'm worried about the amount of glory given to Mokwena. I don't know much about his qualifications and abilities, but I do know that both Pitso and Micho had good CVs before working with this young man. I've never seen an assistant coach given so much credit. Does anyone know how much of a contribution he made individually? Because, as far as I'm concerned, Downs are still on top of the Absa Premiership log after losing Mokwena." – nazzi the second
"Rhulani will not look at what at Baxter does, instead he will be feeding him his best tactics." – MR IBU
"Rhulani 'the chosen one' Mokwena." – Mazembe12
"I like it for Pirates. Well done, Baxter. Shake that ship!" – Panyaza_M
Would you say Rhulani has earned the praise he has gained of late?
