After saying goodbye to veteran defender Eric Mathoho last week, Amakhosi could be set to part ways with another seven players.
Cole Alexander, Austin Dube, George Matlou, Pathutshedzo Nange, Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, with Sabelo Radebe likely to go out on loan.
Khama Billiat is another Chiefs star who could be on his way out of Naturena with his contract expiring at the end of June, unless he takes a drastic pay-cut to stay on board.
Here's how a couple of readers reacted to the "Clearout: Seven Players Who Could Follow Mathoho Out Chiefs' Door" story:
"It's clear Chiefs is continuing with Mangethe? if the idea was to have a team legend as coach why didn't we keep V16, Mabedi, and Ace Khuse. These guys spent a few years of success with the team as assistants especially V16 and Ace, they know what was done right.
"In these difficult times, maybe they might have a solution, we should have even kept coach Shaun Bartlet also one of team's legends although he did not play much. He came to Chiefs with a record, we saw him promoting Golden Arrows as head coach, lost the league in last game as Middendorp's assistant. now with Cape Town Spurs in the promotion play-offs," says shabanguntuthuko who added:
"...Chiefs is just a joke. I have nothing against coach Arthur but it could have been better if we kept him maybe for a few seasons or 5 years or so and hire coaches like Pitso that can turn things around so he can learn from them.
"The issue at Chiefs has never been players but the coaches we have hired in the past 8 years. Steve Komphela had no record, Solinas no good record, Hunt's style of play was not for Chiefs, Baxter, we celebrated his success but killed the culture, Midderndorp's style of play was very defensive."
"They must deal with the technical department first. A person who deals with changes should be the next coach. Be it Zwane or whoever," says mqondisimanene.

Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has no hard feeling over missing out on the DStv Premiership Coach of the Season award, which went Rulani Mokwena's way.
Along with crediting both Mokwena and Hunt for their good seasons with their sides, he hopes to compete with them once again next season in the summit of the DStv Premiership table.
The Buccaneers have had a great season under the Spaniard. Qualifying for the CAF Champions League by finishing second and completing a cup double with the MTN 8 and the Nedbank Cup trophies.
Here's how the readers reacted to "Riveiro Has No Hard Feelings, Challenges Mokwena" story:
"I'm happy because you are going to the new season without pressure and it was my wish for you to be with us for more than 3 seasons, I notice your talent before you won us the MTN 8. Just like the way I used to praise Dzvukamanja and Dlamini before others realized their talents," says Fair Comments.
"No problem Coach JR, [as] Mabhakaniya we're happy as long as our trophy cabinet is continuing to look good, thank you," says @ThizaK.
"Our PSL footballers awards for this year were a JOKE," says msiphos.
"I agree with one blogger who stated that Rulani must go back to Chippa and qualify for CL before he can claim to be the best.
"Which brings to mind, do PSL coaches understand football? Their PSL Awards judgement leaves much to be desired, to say the least. And it happens every year," says tbsafrica.
"Eish! Riveiro naye, he does not count Chiefs as a team that can compete for the Dstv Premiership," says bhekilekhuleni6.
