It was confirmed on Monday that Orlando Pirates declined Stuart Baxter's invitation to assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena to join up with the national team.
Baxter had called up the Bucs coach to join the Bafana Bafana camp as they prepare for the upcoming Four Nations Tournament in Zambia. However, the English coach confirmed on Monday during a media briefing ahead of the tournament that the Soweto giants' reason for rejecting the invite is because they were not properly informed of Rhulani's call-up before the announcement last week.
Supporters Club members have reacted to the news, with some believing the Bafana invitation would have been a distraction for Rhulani as Pirates focus is on challenging for the league title
