SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews has confirmed that Belgium topflight Westerlo have made two offers for winger Thapelo Maseko, but has explained why they are not entertaining them.
As revealed by SABC Sport, Westerlo have made an offer for the enterprising winger, who recently represented the country at national under-23 level, after he missed out on the final Bafana Bafana squad for the two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Liberia last month.

Maseko is having a great second season in the topflight of South African football, playing 20 times in all competitions for the Tshwane outfit. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Westerlo making an offer to have the player on board.
Westerlo are no strangers to having South African players on their books. Previously, they've had Masilo Modubi and more recently Lyle Foster, who left the club in January to join English Championship side Burnley.
To have Maseko on board, Westerlo might need to work a little harder because SuperSport are showing no interest in selling the 19-year-old.
"Maseko is not for sale," Matthews said when contacted by the Siya crew.

"We have received two offers from them, but like I said, Maseko is not for sale at the moment. And even if he was for sale, the latest Westerlo offer would not be entertained by the board."
Matthews further revealed when they would be ready to sell Maseko.
"After he has had at least a full season with us in the first team. He is only 19.""
