Matsatsantsa a Pitori were keen on the Zimbabwean attacker back in January already and were in advanced talks to sign him on loan, only for Pirates to make a U-turn on the player.
The gamble appeared to pay off for coach Riveiro's side, with the former Bidvest Wits striker scoring a number of crucial goals including the Nedbank Cup final winner against Sekhukhune United.
This led to the assumption that Pirates would hold onto the red-hot star.
However, last week the Buccaneers released a statement revealing that the player had requested to be excused from their camp in Spain to attend to family matters, only to receive an approach from SuperSport for his services.
Pirates, in the same statement, confirmed that they would release the player to the Tshwane outfit.
Now, SuperSport have announced the capture of the 29-year-old revealing that they secured his services for an undisclosed fee.
