The Brazilians sealed their spot in the quarter-finals last weekend after thrashing ten-time winners Al Ahly 5-2 at Loftus Versfeld.
Rulani Mokwena's charges have not suffered defeat in the group stages this season and are now targeting top spot in their penultimate clash.
Sundowns were involved in domestic action on Tuesday as they thrashed Royal AM 5-1 to move closer to a sixth consecutive title.
Al-Hilal, meanwhile, can secure their spot in the next round they pick up maximum points on the day as they sit in second spot after last week's 2-0 win over Coton Sport.
The Sudanese outfit hold their fate in their own hands going into this clash, although they did suffer a 1-0 defeat to Sundowns in their opening group game last month.
