Sundowns set a new top-flight record of 12 consecutive league victories after a narrow 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend.
The table-topping Brazilians will have a chance to extend that record to 13 straight wins and stretch their lead on the standings to 19 points.
Galaxy, meanwhile, are on a run of four matches without a win or a goal following their 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City last Friday.
The Rockets have since dropped down to 12th on the table, just two points above the relegation zone and three points off a top eight spot.
Sead Ramovic's charges are one of only two teams to beat Sundowns this season after securing a 1-0 victory in the early stages of the season, which was their first-ever win over the Brazilians.
