SuperSport's surge in form has slowed down since their 2-1 loss to Golden Arrows in early January, as they are yet to win in three games following a 1-1 draw with Richards Bay last weekend.
Matsatsantsa, as a result, have fallen further behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by 21 points in third place on the log, although they could climb above Richards Bay in second place if they get back to winning ways.
Swallows' fortunes, meanwhile, have not immediately changed since Ernst Middendorp took over, as the German has only managed only one win in five matches, with three defeats in the process.
The Birds were edged 1-0 by Sekhukhune United the last time out, as they dropped down to 15th on the table, three points from safety.
The sides could not be separated in the first round meeting after playing to a 1-1 draw in Tshwane.
Swallows are yet to beat SuperSport since they were promoted back to the Premiership in 2020.
