Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Joseph Makhanya has explains why he feels there's a lot at stake for this Soweto Derby despite many negative thought around it.
Chiefs and Pirates are current in state where they no longer give confidence in fighting for league title, having allowed Mamelodi Sundowns to dominate the league for almost a decade.
Makhanya, who knows everything about this clash disagrees with those that there is nothing to play for in Saturday's derby.
"I feel it going to be an exciting game, Kaizer Chiefs are still have slim chance to stop Mamelodi Sundowns and if they can't, they can finish in the second position and qualify for CAF champions league," Makhanya told the Siya crew.
"Orlando Pirates are also fighting for that spot even though they are under pressure with hectic schedule as they still in CAF Confederations Cup, while Chiefs are well rested, even going to this derby Amakhosi will be more fresh than Buccaneers."
Dukuduku has also been impressed by both teams' recent performances and based on that, he predicts a derby with goals as both sides creating lot of chances.
"But in a derby that doesn't count and I foresee a match with goals, the reason i say that both teams are starting to score goals, they regaining scoring form, they creating lot of chances which will make this game entertaining," he added.
"There's still a lot to fight for, noting has been lost and both are fighting for that second position with another hope that Sundowns may slip up, even though it impossible. I predict a draw because of their recent improved form."
