Kaizer Chiefs are set to be without Samir Nurkovic for the upcoming Soweto Derby, which could see coach Stuart Baxter going with the 'CBD' in attack to face Orlando Pirates.
Nurkovic received his fourth yellow card in Amakhosi's 1-0 victory. The Serbian was taken off in the second half not long after getting booked and was replaced by Leonardo Castro, who could get the opportunity to start upfront to join Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly to complete the CBD combination which was made famous during their time at Mamelodi Sundowns.
If ever there was a time Amakhosi fans would want to see the CBD partnership coming together, it would no doubt be against their biggest rivals, Pirates.
Like Nurkovic, Castro has struggled this season, first having to overcome injury and then trying to find his feet while working to get a regular starting spot in Baxter's line-up.
Baxter's other options upfront to replace Nurkovic include Bernard Parker, Lebogang Manyama, Lazarous Kambole and Dumisani Zuma.
Parker is Amakhosi's top scoring striker this season with five goals in all competitions, but the other three players have had difficult seasons in different respects. Manyama has struggled with injury and recently returned, Kambole is on the transfer list and has his contract expiring at the end of the campaign, while Zuma's campaign was wrecked by after being suspended for off-field issues.
