Stuart Baxter will take a healthy record as Kaizer Chiefs coach into the Soweto Derby against rivals, Orlando Pirates which he will no doubt be looking to extend.
Baxter has a record of no defeats in seven previous league meetings against Pirates, getting three victories and four draws during that period.
In his first spell with Amakhosi, Baxter played out to two draws with the Buccaneers in 2012/13 - his first season with the club. In the first half of that season, the sides played out to a 1-1 draw, with Lehlohonolo Majoro getting on the scoresheet for Chiefs, while Collins Mbesuma netted for Pirates. During the second half of the season, they played out to a goalless draw.
The following campaign, in 2013/14, the derby ended in another 1-1, with Kingston Nkhatha finding the back of the net for Amakhosi and cancelling out Kermit Erasmus' opener for the Buccaneers. Baxter finally registered his first Premiership win over Pirates in the second half of that season, a 1-0 win inspired by match-winner Willard Katsande.

In his third and final season with Amakhosi, in 2014/15, Chiefs registered a 2-0 win in the first half of the season, as Siphiwe Tshabalala and Siphelele Mthembu sealed the three points for the Naturena based outfit. The second round match did not produce any goals.
Now in his second spell with Amakhosi, Baxter started with a 2-1 victory, which was sealed by a Keagan Dolly brace.
As they prepare to meet again this weekend, at Orlando Stadium, Baxter will no doubt be determined to remain unbeaten in league matches against his side's rivals.
