Former Orlando Pirates striker Bruce Ramokgadi has surprisingly given an unconvincing prediction for the eagerly awaited Soweto Derby.
Despite going to the match on Saturday being seen as favourites by many after their convincing 3-0 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8, the Buccaneers could struggle against Chiefs, according to Ramokgadi.

Chiefs have failed to win any of their last three matches, having lost to Chippa United, drawn against TS Galaxy and AmaZulu respectively, but Ramokgadi is convinced that Arthur Zwane's side shouldn't be underestimated, as form could count for nothing on the day of the derby.
"Since my playing days, I have always known that whether one of the two teams is doing well and the other not, that counts for nothing. It's always been like that and going to the derby, form doesn't matter for any of the two teams. It depends on the day on the team that wants it more," said Ramokgadi, speaking to the Siya crew.

Asked if he thinks Amakhosi can shock Bucs to claim the bragging rights going to the FIFA World Cup break, the former striker said, "It is possible. On the day, it will depend on the team that wants it the most and like I say, form will be kicked out of the equation. It is just that I don't like to predict, and I prefer to first see the game start and depending on the mood and things like that in the initial stages of the game then I can give my prediction."
