These are some of the statistics between the two clubs since the competition's inception in 2011.

As the two giants of South African football are getting ready to come against each other in the one-day pre-season match on Saturday, here are some of the stats for this unique Soweto Derby that has fans voting for their starting line-ups.

Kaizer Chiefs' 2-0 win in last season's Carling Black Label Cup was their second victory in the competition after winning 1-0 in the 2013 edition.

All four of Orlando Pirates' Carling Black Label Cup wins have come on penalties, while both of Cup wins came over the 90 minutes.

The Carling Black Label Cup has been historically tight, with last season's 2-0 win the first time either side has scored more than once in a match.

Pirates have taken the lead just once in the first six editions of the Carling Black Label Cup, going 1-0 up in 2015 thanks to a Sifiso Myeni goal in the 20th minute only for Reneilwe Letsholonyane to equalise in the 66th minute.

Pirates would go on to win the match on penalties.

Itumeleng Khune has not conceded a goal in his 413 minutes of action in the Carling Black Label Cup, only conceding in penalty shootouts.

Chiefs are aiming for back-to-back Carling Black Label Cup wins for the first time. Orlando Pirates won the Cup in 2011-2012 and 2014-2015.
