A total of five players from Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs made their first appearances in a Soweto Derby on Saturday.

Bernard Parker's ninth minute strike was enough to secure victory for Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Chiefs had two players making their first appearance in a Soweto Derby, none of which were new signings as Dumisani Zuma, Philani Zulu and Bhongolwethu Jayiya were unused substitutes.
The Buccaneers, meanwhile, had three Derby debutants on the day, which included new signings Musa Nyatama and Thamsanqa Sangweni.
