Ahead of their highly-anticipated Nedbank Cup final, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have dropped a massive bombshell regarding their new signing, George Lebese.
Fans were waiting to see Lebese strut his stuff on home soil once again after he penned a short-term deal with TTM at the start of April, after mutually terminating his contract with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks.
And there was hope that fans would see the 32-year-old make his debut in the near future with assistant coach Mpho Maleka revealing that Lebese was two weeks away from returning to action.
But, it appears that the anticipated debut will not be happening after all, with TTM head coach Dylan Kerr revealing that Lebese has in fact parted ways with the Limpopo outfit, after he failed to obtain his clearance documents from the Switchbacks.
"Well, as far as I know, George is no longer with us due to his work visa. We can't get a FIFA clearance for him. So, I think George agreed, I don't know because I'm not seeing him. I think George has gone home and I don't know if he's still part of TTM," Kerr told journalists.
"But I can understand his frustration, when he came, he was way off the pace. I mean we'd be risking serious injury if we did play him in a competitive game, because he's not been training and he hasn't played since November. So he was a long way short off the rest of the squad and we tried very, very hard to get his ITC, but the legalities of it in America... he was already contracted to that club, he wasn't really a free agent, so we couldn't really sign him."
