Mamelodi Sundowns have four defenders who are at risk of missing the big DStv Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates on Friday, should they get booked this evening against Baroka FC.
Table-topping Sundowns host the Limpopo outfit in Tshwane tonight and could consider resting players who are on three bookings going into this match and would miss the clash against Pirates on Friday, should they get shown a yellow card.
Key players Lyle Lakay, Grant Kekana, Rushine de Reuck and Khuliso Mudau are walking a suspension tightrope, knowing very well that they need to be on their best behaviour if they are given a chance to play against Baroka.
The Sundowns technical team, however, could consider resting them, looking at the fact that they have enough quality in their squad, with the likes of Thapelo Morena, Brian Onyango, Ricardo Nascimento and Aubrey Modiba all capable of doing the job if called upon.
Good news for Sundowns is that midfielder Andile Jali is available again after he served his one-match suspension.
